This Chocolatour from Ecuador owes a lot of its unique flavor to the beans known as Ariba or Nacional. It starts with a classic light roasted cocoa flavor note and gives way to intriguing mildly acidic flavors that develop into tropical fruit flavors evocative of chocolate covered banana and then taper off to a mild tannic note reminiscent of a good cup of tea.
